#2Detroit is the better overall team. Much better. That opener is surprising as I have never seen Felix as a road fav vs top tier competition(Det/TX/Bos/Yanks). The way Det is able to hit, I would not expect Felix to go past six innings. Are you comfortable with a heavy dose of Jamie Wright, and other assorted bums?Comment -

#3Seattle has a lot of lefty hitting and they often struggle against lefty's. Detroit has had ok success historically against felix. =Felix threw over 115 pitches last start and he will most likely elevate that pitch count again which could lead to an early hook.

#4Detroit as a home dog looking for a bounce back win. At first glance, I'd consider this to be hard to resist. Seattle's pen w/ 2.95 era, 0.98 WHIP in 18.1 innings L5 games vs Detroits's w/ 3.96 era, 1.68 WHIP in 25.0 innings L5 games. Going w/ the stronger veteran pitcher (1.02 WHIP in 4 games) in this one. jbart mentioned his high pitch count and that's a concern in taking Hernandez. Rolling the dice and taking a chance w/ Seattle myself.Comment -

#9Wilk's has thrown 62,72 pitches in his two starts. Two of Det long relievers went 2 innings yesterday (Balester 32 pitches, Coke 24 pitches) and there other long reliever Below went 6 innings on Saturday. Felix did throw 125 pitches last outing but that was Thursday.Comment -
