I love this card today
Rays -1 -141 risk 2.82
The Rays were up up last night 4-2 when Peralta gave up a 3 run double. Overall, The Rays have the edge in pitching in this one and Uptons return should make a huge impact at some point, maybe not today but he frees up that lineup. Shields is coming off a great year and is already 2-0 witha 3.38 ERA after a tough start against the Yankees. He has been going late into his games and definitely seems to have great command of his pitches and has shown some pretty impressive strike out numbers.
The Twins send up Pavano who is 1-1 witha 5.23 ERA but he did look against the Yankees. I am going to continue to fade this Twins team though, the Twins are 2-5 on the road and The Rays have an 8 game win streak at home with Shields on the mound, Shields is 2-0 against the Twins at Tropicana.
Phillies -1 -115 risk 2.30
Padres/Phillies u3 first 5 -130 risk 1.3
I love getting this number with halladay on the mound and a phillies team I still feel is undervalued in the market. Phillies bats are waking up after an atrocious start. The Phillies have won 13 in a row in San diego and seems to own San Diego at Petco. Halladay is off to his usual dominant start, going 3-0 to start the year. I am looking at this under as well, Luebke is off to an impressive start and is coming off an incredible year. I think runs will be at a premium in this one.

The Nationals are one of the hottest teams in baseball nobody is talking about. The Nationals have now won 9 of their last 11 games and they send utn one of the best pitchers in baseball when he is healthy to the mound today. I dont love this wager as much a s the other one, the Marlins are a very good team with tons of talent but getting one of the hottest teams in baseball with Strasburg on the mound at home is worth a punt here.
Dodgers -1.5 -120 risk 1.20
I hate this -1.5 run line on the road but looking at the numbers from these teams and pitchers I think the dodgers numbers and the Astros and Weilands numbers justify laying it. Weiland is 0-2 with an ERA at 8.44 this year and last year wasnt much better for Weiland and they are facing a Cy Young winner looking for his first win. Kershaw has good numbers this year and no wins, but the Dodgers have won 16 of his last 18 starts and I think they get Kershaw his first win here today.
