Please dont fade him tomorrow with Wieland on the mound in san diego. Find a better spot imo. Especially at

Yeah, I know. Probably only for a unit. There will be better spots.
Has Vance ever had an unfavorable matchup in his career?

na and the bats magically show up for him too.. while hamels and cliff battle 8 innings with less then 2 runs support on the regular... the kid is blessed

Not sure about the Braves in this spot, Minor like
Kobe, is very hard to trust on the road.

Un-fvcking-real.
Seriously, the Pirates and Pads might have the two worst offenses I've seen in baseball over the last 10 -- or even 20 -- years.
its amazing the run support the phills give vance in comparison to the rest of the staff

The Whore may have bankrupted you last season if you were doing that.
The Whore in the rotation and The Bastard in the bullpen. That's Philly for ya.

Yep. Plus, I hear he's going to be facing a girl next time out.
Seriously, does this guy ever oppose a decent pitcher?

Once again, Worley's facing an absolute scrub tonight.
I'd love to fade this guy, but does he ever face an actual major league pitcher?

Sometimes, but it's far from uncommon to see a 4 or 5 matched against a 1 or 2 when the schedules become imbalanced.
I know, ebb. Figures.

Coin, what's your beef with this guy?? Periph's say he's more or less as good as advertised (plenty of others are more / less overrated that you can find value in every time they pitch). Is it simply that the dude looks like a tool?

I would just stop fading Worley altogether if I were you. It's clearly not working.

Last year, he seemed very flukish. Dodged in and out of trouble, always got favorable matchups and a ton of run support, etc.
Same can be said about the matchups and run support this season, though I have to admit he's looked much better on the mound than I thought he would. Figured the league would catch up to him as a sophomore. Maybe not.
