    Wednesday picks ( 61-46 +19.86 )
    Cardinals -124 risk 1.24

I am going to keep wagering on the Cardinals until they show some signs of slowing down. They are 6-2 in their last 8 games while the Reds are 2-6 in their last 8. Matt Carpenter has has added some great hitting to one of the best lineups in baseball. Beltran is killing it, Freece, Furcal and ,Holliday are all hitting the ball well and I think Garcia will do better here at home than in his last outing in Cincy.

He has dominated the Reds in the past especially here at home and Latos struggled in his few outings here in St Louis when he was with the Padres and I saw his Reds opener where he got shelled by Miami. Latos tends to struggle in April from looking at his stats.

    Rangers -105 risk 1.05

I will keep wagering on the 2 best teams in baseball, the Rangers and the Cardinals until the roi numbers go down. The Rangers are just killing the ball, of course a night like last night does tend to skew some stats. I would normally be on the Red sox in this spot and Lefties have not always done well at Fenway, but the Rangers have great numbers hitting the ball at Fenway, Hamilton has good numbers against Beckett, and Holland has done well in his few starts here in Fenway. These games after an embarrassment like last night are not always the greatest wagers but the Rangers continue to make punters money.

    Pirates/Dbacks u8.5 +100 risk 1

    Pirates +1.5 -135 risk 1.35

The Offensively challenged Pirates finally got some runs last night but this teams offense has been putrid so far this year. Mcdonald has had a good start and with arizona probably missing two of their best players in Young and Upton , I think runs will be at a premium in this one. I really don't like wagering on the Pirates even with a one run handicap but I am going to pirates +1.5 run line, Arizona has won most of its games by one run, but the Pirates are just so bad and Hudson may have a better start here. Check lineups for this one, thats a major loss of the dbacks hitting and they are not the Rangers anyway in terms of runs scored.

    Giants +100 risk 1

    Brewers -1 -127 risk 1.27

    Nationals -1 -137 risk 1.37

    Angels -1 -117 risk 1.17
