Huge Braves fan here and an even huger fan of Jair. I have watched and cheered for him closely since his trade to the braves and have been pleased with his progress over the last couple of years.
But the thing with Jair is that he wears down as the game goes on. He's never been able to pitch too deep into ball games and if there is not a lead going to the 5th or 6th for the Braves, he's probably going to give up a few runs. To me, this game seems a lot like Monday's game. Hanson being solid for a good share of the game and getting tagged late. Dickey is not great, but has the ability to shut down an anemic Braves offense as you never know what to expect from them. Without McCann in the lineup, I say the Braves may score 1 to 2 runs and Mets win 5 - 2.
I actually want to play the Mets on the RRL (-1.5) but I'll play it safer and take the +103 ML.

There will definitely be a lot of action on this game for all the reasons you pointed out. But I think if you look closely enough, there is money to be earned. I'm not a big totals fan, but I'd stay away from the 7.5 because I think the O/U will be very close to spot on that number; could go either way. As for the ML, I think Mets take this as they just seem to have the Braves number and Jair hasn't had much success against them in his last year. I think we'll see a solid six innings from Jair (probably a QS but that means three runs for the Mets) I see the best value in the Mets and get your day started with a nice profit (don't go big though is my suggestion)Originally posted by SmutbucketComment -
