    Garza +112 tomorrow
Been high on Garza going back to last season. Books finally starting to catch up but I still will back Garza and the cubbies tomorrow in Miami. Going to ride this guy until he cools down.

Agreed. Probably the only good time to take the Cubs. I don't trust Marmol though so might just take Garza 1st Innings.

Buehrle owns the Cubs. They hit .225 off him in 182 at bats with a .249 OBP. The Marlins hit Garza hard. Be careful on this one.

Sorry but this is useless information. I am confident Garza will pitch well again tomorrow. Not sure that the Cubs will get the W but it won't be too hard if they only have to score a couple runs.

Don't like that the line is +114/-121 at Pinny vs. -105/-115 at SIA and +100/-120 at Bodog. BOL though t-wizz. Garza is very solid. I just don't see the Cubs getting to Buehrle.

had cubs today vs johnson....their offense couldn't hang and the bullpen wound up blowing the game after great outing from dempster

Yea what he said. Look at the stats on Baseball Reference.

This looks like a clear play on the Marlins.

You guys really aren't this dumb are you? That can't possibly be your reasoning for backing the Fish.

So what's your reasoning for taking Garza if the H-2-H with Buehrle is so stupid?

The sample size is way too small for the Garza stats. None of that stuff matters, it's about the way these guys are pitching now. Buehrle is still solid but he isn't the pitcher he was 5-10 years ago.

Using previous history and stats, not to mention looking at how putrid the Cubs are this season. Yes... that's definitely a dumb thing to do. Please post your daily plays so I can fade every one.

I've made 8 mlb plays this year. 5-3 and up 2.47 units. Once the season picks up i will have more action and you can fade every play if you'd like.

Previous history is irrelevant in this matchup.

You keep saying previous history is irrelevant but yet your basing your play off of "Garza is hot". What kind of logic are you using? You're using Garza's HUGE sample size of 2 starts this year to base a play off of? Yet then turning around and dismissing the Marlins small sample size of success against him. That's not how it works, that's how a superfan would bet. Certainly we could look at every game on the board and go "oh look at this stat, they'll win because of it."

I'm by no means an expert on betting baseball but if you talk to people that know what they're doing I guarantee they're using all of the factors at their disposal.

Regardless if the Marlins win or not (just hit 2 run bomb), is irrelevant. You can't ignore Buerhle's vast history with the Cubs and the Marlin's hitters having some success against him (albeit another small sample size).

I was referring to the fact that Garza has been one of the better pitchers in baseball going back to the second half of last season.
