I know I sound like a broken record and I know the Rays buried me today, but you get Shields at +164? Talk about an inflated line. Verlander is nails at home and Detroit seems to be a juggernaut, but you'd be crazy laying that kind of juice in this matchup.

It's about the price paco. You take your chances in this spot and see what happens. Tampa should be about +130 here.

Shields won his last start vs Detroit, Verlander also started that game..
+164 looks good, but its tough to bet against detroit right now, until they lose some games i can't do it

Agree it's tough to pull the trigger. Just saying that price is ludicrous.

Why wouldn't it be a no play? Seems like you are getting value owned here.

GL. I agree the price is inflated but still think Tigers win with JV on the mound.

I rather you lean Timmay at -123 vs Guthrie and Rockies rather than shields vs verlander

They probably will. Are they going to surpass the 35-5 start of '84? I was at a few of those games -- good times.

I sure hope so. Dont know much of that 84 team, I was only 1 at the time lol.
That lineup is dangerous, and all this with V-Mart injured. Avilla got the day off and that scrub Laird even got a RBI single lmao

That's the year that got me hooked. I was 8. My dad took me to Tiger Stadium probably 10 times that summer. God I miss that place -- warts and all.

Love the Reds, looks like Berkman will be out and I like this Wednesday time slot for the Reds 11:35 am, Reds love this time slot at home.... Mets dont have their best player David Wright so I definately dont like them.... Milwaukee/Chi no opinion.... Love the Tigers, theyre playing too good right now PLUS their ace is on the mound! no way they lose.....Love the Red Sox, Toronto had to win that game today, I expect the Red Sox to win tommorows game....Love the Phillies.
So Im Cincy, Detroit, Boston, Philly. And in the Mets/Wash game I would be careful betting the Mets with no David Wright. Good Luck to you

Ok, I just placed a 5 team parlay risking $200. Reds, Tigers, RedSox, Phillys, Wash. I will place more bets with modifications to this parlay as well (adding and subtracting a team here and there)

A $200 five-team baseball parlay in April taking all faves? Wow -- good luck with that.

Want to consider Houston as well. Braves have looked like junk against lefties this year, and Wandy at home is typically a good buy.

I'm a Cardinals fan, and although I'm not putting money against the team I root for I would say Reds could easily take this game. No Beltran, Berkman or Freese in the lineup for the Cardinals today.

Not that they don't want to win, but they are opting for rest knowing they get 2 out of 3 on the road worst case scenario.

Yeah. They're not surrendering the game, but like you said, they've gotten what they needed from this series.

For sure. They're getting ready for the home opener and the ceremony on Friday for the WS celebration.

Rockies got shutout by Zito, no way they hit Linchcumstain, take the Rockies. That game goes over the total, be where my dough would go.

I'm typically all for fading Lince. We'll see what happens early -- hopefully I'll be able to roll over some profit on that one if I play it instead of chasing.
