I know I sound like a broken record and I know the Rays buried me today, but you get Shields at +164? Talk about an inflated line. Verlander is nails at home and Detroit seems to be a juggernaut, but you'd be crazy laying that kind of juice in this matchup.

Shields won his last start vs Detroit, Verlander also started that game..

+164 looks good, but its tough to bet against detroit right now, until they lose some games i can't do it

I sure hope so. Dont know much of that 84 team, I was only 1 at the time lol.

That lineup is dangerous, and all this with V-Mart injured. Avilla got the day off and that scrub Laird even got a RBI single lmao

That's the year that got me hooked. I was 8. My dad took me to Tiger Stadium probably 10 times that summer. God I miss that place -- warts and all.

Love the Reds, looks like Berkman will be out and I like this Wednesday time slot for the Reds 11:35 am, Reds love this time slot at home.... I'm a Cardinals fan, and although I'm not putting money against the team I root for I would say Reds could easily take this game. No Beltran, Berkman or Freese in the lineup for the Cardinals today.
