Bos will step up in this game.Alvarez sucks. Bos is only +114 with a no name pitcher on the mound.
Sox ML +114 (3x)

What up LB! How've you been? I'm on the Angels RL tomorrow. Think they pull together on the road after the horrendous opening stand against the Royals.

The public will see Boston and the + number in front of them and hammer away.

With all due respect Laker Boy, Henderson Alvarez doesn't suck. I admit, I am a die hard Jays fan, but his stuff is off the charts good. I wouldn't be the least bit surprised if he is the ace of this staff in 2-3 years. Hell, he is only 21-22 right now, and not even close to reaching his potential.

You bet good teams when they just got shit on, nobody wants them and they are underdogs. Not when they are -200 when every moron has them in parlay. Thats how you win long term in anything.

This game has too many variables on either side. The Jays have a very good home opener record. But Boston has to be looking for some redemption after the Detroit series.
Not sure where you are getting that Alvarez sucks so I will just chalk that up to you talking out of your ass.
I am seeing a lot of value in the OVER however. Both bullpens are completely spent after both teams opening series and we have 2 end of the rotation guys starting against two potent offensive teams.
Anyone else like the OVER in this matchup more than anything?

This.
His composure is amazing too. Just as much as the Red Sox will want to hammer him, he will want to show that the Red Sox can't hammer him. Jays or no play

Agreed ... Don't let the facts get in the way LB.
6 innings 0.00 era vs Bos LY.
Alvarez thrives on hitting his spots and changing speeds; his 1.13 walks-per-nine innings ratio last season was best in the majors among pitchers who made 10 or more spot starts and his changeup limited opposing hitters to .176/.236/.216 rates.

Not sure how you pulled this off LB. You got killed by late money (closed at +120 at Pinny) and were way off of Alvarez.
We're only a few days into the season and I'm already sick of losing bets because of bullshit relief performances.

They've played 3 games -- not 10. Was it conceivable that they'd be 0-4 after tonight? Absolutely. And until Santos trotted his loser ass into the game, they looked the part at the plate.
Does Alvarez still "suck"? Not sure where you're going with that one. Kid's got a lot of potential.

Reg "bullshit relief". Agreed. I'm looking more and more at first 5 early on until starters get strecthed out pens more definable. Like Sox vs Drabek tonight and just might take 1st 5 vs leaving it to the sox bullpen.
