Boy, It Really Does Just KILL the Braves to Score a Run
As a Braves fan, this has been a long-standing frustration for years. Last year's choke at the end of the year. Fruitless offense in past 'one and done' Wild Card playoffs. Now, same shit new season, I see Bourn lead off the game with a double and manage to find a way to get caught trying to take home on a wild pitch. It just kills these retards to score a run.

I agree. Good pitching only gets you so far. We have no pop in the middle of the lineup.

The Braves offense is the kind of thing that keeps pitchers like RA Dickey looking good.

The home plate umpire. Guy is calling perfect pitches balls and balls on the out edges strikes that are borderline.

Give Dickey some respect, great pitcher, 60 starts last 2 years for the Mets, sub 3.00 E.R.A. overall, and once the weather warms up he is even better, 2.80 E.R.A post All-Star break...

Warm weather early this year = another sub 3.00 campaign... not just the Braves who can't hit him...

A 37 year old'er who throws 70 MPH. I would not show any SP like that any respect.

Seriously dude, he's been a knuckle ball pitcher for 2 seasons, and his CAREER E.R.A. as a knuckle-baller is sub 3.00 ...

Plus the fact that he throws a 70-80 MPH knuckle ball is why he is so good, one of the fastest knuckle balls ever if I'm not mistaken... and most of them are from the 77-79 MPH range btw...
