    Hatter's 2012 Tea Party on the Mound!
    Football was great. Walked away with +135 units. Basketball was a bust. Started really strong, hit approx +450 units before conference play started, then it was all downhill from there. I stopped once I hit bottom and just about broke even for the season. At the end, I just lost the drive to continue.

    I was never good at handicapping baseball, but I do love the sport. I am looking forward to this upcoming season. I will be keeping track of all my plays in this thread. Units will be 1-5 units with occasional 10 or 20 unit bets. The same unit system I've been using to bet Football and Basketball this past season, except I'll be using $5/unit (vs $25) for baseball. If there's no pitcher posted, its an action bet.

    Good luck to everyone on what will hopefully be a profitable baseball season.

                                                                          Same to you bud. Hoping to turn things around tomorrow. Currently down in units but loving this baseball season so far. Can't wait to see how the rest of everyone's pitching rotation turns out and also can't wait for the bats to start heating up.

                                                                                  Teams normally not on anyone's radar I'm keeping my eye on. KC, NYM and Houston. KC of course has always had the offense and their starting pitching hasn't always been consistent but I recall last year they did catch a few teams by surprise early on. The Mets, I feel that there is a good vibe radiating from them even after just 3 games. Houston...this early in the season I like how well they have been hitting the ball. They may make some strides this year and seem to climb a little out of the cellar. Its still early, but at times you have to take a chance and try to catch hot-streaks early to get a jump on the lines-makers. Teams that I feel are sluggish and off to a slow start are the Minn, Bosox and the Braves as reflected above. GL all!
