yes home field means something but it can go either way, thats what I'm saying. teams that are not in contention wouldn't care if they were to come up to the plate bases loaded down a run and strikes out, hit into a DP. I've seen the players just come up to bat a few times, make there outs go into the locker room change then go out and party. that's what they really want to do. you think that they care about this meaningless game. nope not at all, its party time!!! and the AL lineup is pretty much texas and NYY, so basically it texas and the yankess VS the NL, You also can't assume NYY will take all the way, there's another wildcard team now so for all you know yanks could be knocked the 1st round,
