Gonna most likely side with the Mariners again. Lefty's hit nearly 300 off colon, and the Mariners 1-5 hitters are all lefty's. Vargas is fairly solid himself, although he hasn't had the best games vs. the A's. Go M's !!!

going with Seattle and fading the total altogether. vargas is horrible, but even the M's can smack around Colon

^ you mean staying off the total?
I'm not getting up for this one. I was going to, but now they're playing at 5 AM instead of 6.

Staying away from this game. If I had to lean one way, it would probably be Mariners. Vargas has looked horrible for the Mariners in spring training. However, Colon only pitched 6.2 innings in the spring so he may not go deep into the game. Plus Oakland used 5 relievers in the first game which may be a big factor in the second game.

Oakland and the over for me. Oak is gonna do everything they can to stay in this game and pull out a win. They had a ton of chances yesterday and couldn't capitalize. If they can get into the Marlins pen today they stand a better chance. The last thing Oak wants is to fly all the way to Japan, get swept, then fly back to California to play more exhibition games against SF.
As for the total? Well it just makes very little sense that it was set at 8.5 with these 2 teams so I'm making a small play on the over.

total makes sense.
Remember that the lines are higher because the Tokyo Dome has shorter fences than MLB parks.
Yesterday it was set at 7 (would be 6 or 6.5 in America) with a great pitcher and a good pitcher starting.
Today it's 8.5 with two mediocre or worse pitchers going, and the bullpens maybe a little fatigued.

Not sure what I want to do. Leaning towards the A's simply because of Vargas and that they had way more opportunities to score yesterday/this morning, meaning that they should cash in on some runs today.

i dont know about fatigued
A's have some minor injuries. Colon is terrible that's why NYY let him go. Vargas had some issue but still better here with a few Japanese sluggers behind him they will make him feel at home.
remember Seattle always start the season with a good run with their first 5 to 6 games.

Vargas has a better ERA despite his troubles. Colons injury is a worry and you never know what you'll get out of him. He also hasn't had a pitch in a while. Don't trust the A's bats.
Seattle again for sure.

Do you know what injury Colon is carrying? Is it his shoulder again?

A's lineup has to be one of the worst in the history of the sport. WTF is Coco Crisp still doing with a job? He was done three years ago.

Yessssss. Cespedes baby. Wow down 1-0 with 2 outs in the bottom of the 7th thought I was in big trouble with this A's offense but a 2 run shot gives the A's the lead 2-1. Now if Oakland can just shut this powerful Mariners offense off the board the rest of the game I don't have to reload tomorrow!

Wow back to back. 3-1 now baby! Hell yes! I honestly was just thinking about how much I was going to deposit tomorrow. I can't count my chickens before they hatch though. Still 2 more at bats for Seattle. I would love for Belfour to get a save too, I started him this week on my fantasy team.
