Two $5 Foot Longs on Houston @ -115
Weiland going for the Astros today as the former Red Sox prospect attempts to lock down a rotation spot. The young righty has been solid in his two Spring starts for Houston and another one today could nail down a spot at the back of the Houston rotation. McDonald going for Pittsburgh. He got rocked his last time out for five runs and generally hasn't been sharp this Spring. Read that the Bucs have been tinkering with McDonald's delivery to try to make him more consistent, so far it hasn't worked. Get this one and we hit Subway for two $5 foot longs with the winnings.

Early deficit. Nearly wiggled out of a runners on 2nd and 3rd situation, but Walker got to him. 2-0 PIT.

If these stats are correct, incredible. McDonald 17 pitches, all strikes and he's through FOUR innings. Absolutely zero patience at the plate Astros. Jeeze. At least Weiland is settled in and keeping it close. Maybe the Bucs relievers will give something up that is if they don't let McDonald keep going since he's barely broken a sweat.

At this rate, McDonald may throw a CG no hitter in under 50 pitches. I'm kind of rooting for it now because this is a ridiculous hitting approach from Houston.

Ah okay because those stats were freaky ridiculous. Looked like they were going to have one good crack at it in the 9th, but gave up two runs. Looks like no Subway celebration.

Behold the power of Jared! Three run ninth to tie it and the 'Stros are ahead in the 10th! Those $5 foot longs may not be lost just yet.

Bamm, Houston we have landed! Left when they were down 4-1 after giving up that 2 run homer, came back in just now and surprise Houston come through win the winner!
