free money? they won 74 games in 2011
my thought process so far:
additional thoughts?
the couple other lines that caught my eye is ny mets under 72.5 and nats over 84
my thought process so far:
- they will be without gio, cahill, and andrew bailey
- they signed manny and cespedes. manny isnt going to add more than 10 hr's as a DH, and it is very likely that cespedes could struggle in his first year in the mlb, especially in that ballpark.
- the rest of the division got stronger, rangers and angels could easily win 90 games each and even seattle might top the A's this season
- the red sox september collapse and the phillies 102 wins last year proved that pitching wins games. and the athletics only have scrubs left in the rotation/pen
