He might as well just shut it down for the season, the A's aren't going anywhere.

OAKLAND, Calif. (AP) - Oakland Athletics pitcher Justin Duchscherer (DOOK'-shur) might be done for the season.
The All-Star right-hander threw 10 pitches in a simulated game today before spiking the ball to the ground in frustration after feeling pain in his strained right hip.
Duchscherer has been on the disabled list since August 19th with the injury. It's his second DL stint of the year after missing time in April with a strained right biceps muscle. Duchscherer had hip surgery in July of 2007.
The A's had tentatively slated Duchscherer to start Saturday in the middle game of a weekend series with the Seattle Mariners, but manager Bob Geren says he won't pitch and is doubtful for the remainder of 2008.
The 30-year-old Duchscherer is 10-8 this year with a 2.54 ERA over 22 starts of his first season as a full-time starter.
