Betting early season baseball and betting big chalk: For me the first few weeks of baseball are the hardest to cap.Baseball is a game of form and early on you don't have much of a benchmark to compare stats with. I like to see each teams starters(pitchers) go through the rotation at least 3 times before I feel more comfortable about the bets.
Now for you guys who like to lay big chalk use extra caution during this time. All pitchers will be on a strict pitch count. Throw in some cold weather and may have some control problems. If they pitch deep into the count a lot a few walks,errors,ect. They will be lucky to pitch 4 to 5 innings.! Now you are relying long and middle relief pitchers while you are laying -200.! And that is not the best of situations..........Best of luck to all.!!
