well, if that's the case....my winner is whatever you're not betting. I like Sabathia to come through tomorrow, but I don't want to lay -200. Hammel has had a good year (and pitched well against the Yankees), and the Yankee bats haven't looked good outside of Ibanez being a dick and that big inning against Johnson in game 1.....if there's a play i'd go with the under.

Dexter, I disagree. Balty will find away tommorow,not NY. Showalter will manage to win the game. Girardi has to consider ego's and pay check. Think of how many times Baltimore has been counted out. They are at this point for a reason and they will not be turned away tommorow. Its true both teams were awful tonite in situational hitting. But NY has a funk and they have had one in the post season for so long. Outside of Jeter the rest of the Yankees are done. Most of there team is completely lost at the plate. Baltimore at this price and situation has to be played. All pressure on the yanks. Wont be able to drive a nail in there ass come gametime. That NY media will eat them and girardi alive tommorow. NY will playing not to lose and Baltimore will let it fly tommorow. Gl.

Joe girardi is good man, but he has created sins against his ball club by not pinch hitting for arod last nite with runners on 2nd and 3rd and 1 out against oday in bottom of 8th. This is not little league and the yanks are not a dynasty or super power, which is to say you only get so many opportunities to close out a series against a team that is every bit the Yankees equal. The Yankees should have closed balty out last nite. You have to Ph for arod again in bottom of 8th. Sure buck would have walked the lefty ph, but I would rather take me chances with Swisher than arod. Yanks would need to execute in that situation but it seems they do not have any real plan at the plate other than try to hit hr. The also have such a lackadaisical arrogance about them. That behavior,lack of coaching,execution will get them beat. Baltimore looks more interested.

Baltimore has hit sabathia well all year. He isnt getting 2 wins in this series. Bottomline balty will have some chances to win today and I think they will take full advantage.

I hope you're right but I don't trust Johnson to close it. And while I think show alter is the best in the game he won't make as big a difference as he would in an Nl park.

totally agree. And what did swisher do? Hit the flyball to the outfield that would have scored the winning run had they walked the ph.
a-rod couldn't even get a piece of it.

Girardi has forgotten more about baseball than I will know. He knew the right moves to make last nite but he was more concerned massaging the ego of arod. Everbody on that team knew what the correct move was and he failed to do it. The Yankees would have still had to execute to win,but the managers job is to put his team in the best possible situation to win. Last nite was the Yankees game to lose and they lost it. The orioles are 2-0 in elimination games this post season and now the Yankees are getting there first, for a team that is mostly filled with unclutch performers and I am getting almost 2 -1 on my money? You cant be scarred of your money. I think the orioles run into a few today and this game breaks from the norm and there will be no closing from johnson. This is one of the best bets of the post season.

Good luck to you guys that took baltimore. I cant guarantee the win of course but love the play. This line is high based on sabathias reputation. The truth is Hughes has given orioles more trouble this year than cc has. Last nites results were no surprise against hughes. Nath mcclouth was really the only guy that had hit him and he did again.
