I just simmed 3 games on MLB 2k8

I decided to test out MLB 2k8 for Xbox and see if they can predict the outcomes of today's games. Here were the games I simmed:

Astros vs. Rockies: Astros won 13-2
Cubs vs. Reds: Cubs won 15-3
Angels vs. White Sox: White Sox won 6-4 in the bottom of the 11th.

I use to do that with NHL08 for the 360.

Surprisingly enough, it did a pretty good job.

So far, it doesn't seem to be off on the Angels/White Sox game. The Cubs are beating the Reds. The Rockies/Stros game is a pitcher's duel.

The Cubs game is almost dead on. The White Sox game will be decided in late innings as the sim told us. The only thing they were off about was the Astros game.

i mean, why not, its no worse than flipping a coin. which is what most people here do

Yeah. I'll definitely do some sims tomorrow. I think it's better than flipping a coin because they are using fictional characters who are pretty well representative of the skill levels of each player respectively.
