Betting the bigger dogs blind usually does well in pucks the first few weeks. No one really knows the teams yet and the books will usually put up numbers from last year.

Also, betting the biggest dog of the day usually does well every year. But you have to be careful at the start of the season with the dogs. Usually there is one dog that will just suck all of your winnings everytime you wager on them. I think last year it was the Blues and or Kings. Almost always it's a team from the west that does it.

I've betting all the baseball dogs for 3 days in a row now -- just 1/3 of a unit -- and have profited each day. It's a pretty fun, mindless, and stress-free way to bet. I like it -- I bet it works for Basketball at the end of the season too (maybe at the beginning as well).
