    in the past id agree
but i dont think he is what he was

also, we know he wont go over 7 innings, meaning that awful pen will have 2 innings ot blow it
and sheets aint much worse than johan, so what will the score be when johan leaves ?? 2-2? 3-2?

the bullpens will most likely factor in here

Any time you can get a pitcher with an ERA at 2.70 at even money it's always worth a shot. And yes Johan is better than Sheets.

          milwaukee, plus money, at home
          better pen, better offense
          slightly worse pitcher, maybe
its a tossup game and you are taking a team with no pen
unless you think mets win 10-0, and almost all their johan starts are close games, then take the home dog

Brewers own Lefthanded starting pitching this year. Best in MLB if not mistaken at a 31-12 clip. They also beat Johan earlier in the year @ NY and with Sheets on the mound as well...just a few other things to consider

and the brew crew at home, with a pitcher who aint much worse than johan
              easy call
              mets have nopen

Can't bet against Santana at this price, but there are also reasons to bet Brewers at home with Sheets at a cheap price. This game screams NO PLAY.

Man, I'm not playing this game but if I was I would pick the brewers on the -1.5 runline. santana is going 6 or 7 innings tops. the mets will lead, if they lead, by no more than 2 runs. Then you have the Mets bullpen who is hot garbage. Milly is hot and at home. They are the hot team right now. the mets are garbage in 1st game of any series. Mets can win but I wouldn't put my money on the Mets here..

Good news for Mets backers...Sheets out of the game after 5 IP...his velocity was down and only threw 54 pitches...must be hurt...not good news for Brewers fans

Yeah I just started a thread on this. I'm backing the Mets so this is good news.
