4-5-1 -0.44u today. I went 2-0-1 on totals and 2-5 on sides today and I've been feeling like totals have been much stronger for me. So I looked at the first day and on after my short break, 8/25, and broke all the plays down; this is only spans a week but it's still a lot of plays:

      TOTALS: 20-6-4 +19.63
      Sides: 21-18 +7
      RL: 3-5 -1.25
      ML Dogs +110 +: 8-4 +8.1
      ML Faves -110 +: 3-3 -1.16
      -110 < ML < +110: 6-4 +3.67
      -0.5 FF: 1-2 -2.36
      Team totals: 5-2-1 +2.75
      Grand Salami: 1-0 +1

I went 14-4-1 +15.88 on game totals, and while I was +7 on sides all of that came from dogs and small favorites; RL and larger faves killed me. I'm going to continue to keep track so we'll see if these numbers continue. I might consider making all game totals two units.

i noticed the same thing on my baseball plays months ago.
        reduced unit size on sides.
        focused more on totals.
        can also be streaky tho.
seems like TT should be ez to win at, but cant get that right for now

Yeah I know what you mean about streaky. For all I know next week I could go 14-4 on sides and bomb totals. These results, however, back up my thinking that the stats I rely on are better suited for totals than sides, although I have done well at picking dogs.

Team totals can be tricky; I often find myself wanting to play more of them but I will usually only do it if I have a lean on the ML and total of the game, i.e. Florida ML, Game over, and Florida TT O. 2-1 for that game results in a profit.
