Pros: Gorzelanny isn't a very good pitcher, however, his home numbers are much better than his road numbers. The opposite is true for the Brewer's Dave Bush. In his lone start at PNC this year, he gave up 6 runs in 5 innings. In his career at PNC, he is 0-2 with a 6.43 ERA. Now that Matt Capps is back, the Pirates will have a chance to close this game out.

Cons: Gorzelanny has been hit hard by the Brew this year.

Mets -125
Pros: Oliver Perez is one of the most dominant pitchers since the All Star Break. He has feasted on division rivals such as the Marlins. The Fish have had problems hitting him all year and should continue to have problems as they are in an offensive slump. The Fish will be sending Chris Volstad to the mound. While Volstad has been good overall, his home numbers have been surprisingly mediocre. Expect the Mets and their surging offense to win this one behind the arm of Oliver Perez.

Cons: The Mets have yet to see Volstad.

Your considering the phils against the Cubs and Harden. Will the Phillies get any runs off Harden?? They barely got any runs off Pedro mart last week!!! the only time I trust the Pirates is with Malholm on the mound. Gorzolanny is hot trash. He's an overs machine. Bush may be shit on the road but Bush is not the only player on the Brewers. Brewers is overall a better team and I believe they are more motivated to win this than the Pirates. I have the Brewers on the -1.5 runline. May play them on the -2.5 as well..

Blanton has been good this month. I wouldn't put it past him to keep up with Harden. The Phils almost won yesterday, so who are you to say that the Cubs will win for sure.

Because Harden doesn't give up runs. I am not telling you what to do with your money, I am just saying there are better bets then putting money on the Phillies at Wrigley when they are on a absolute tear. I just think Cubs will have no problem hitting Blanton.

Harden is not the most amazing pitcher ever and is due for a loss. He is facing the Phillies, who are not a bad team by any stretch of the imagination. Blanton has been much better in August. I'm not saying that I am definitely doing this. I am considering it and will make my decision when the lineups come out. Remember, the Cubs have a comfortable lead in their division. The Phils really need to win this game.

If you are making that argument for this game, then you can basically say the same thing for every game the cubs play for the rest of the season. Pros: Guthrie has great numbers. He is a better road pitcher than a home pitcher. He is opposing the very good Scott Kazmir. However, Baltimore hits lefties well and are due for a win here. Kazmir also has a 4.50 ERA this month, which is much worse than his other performances throughout the year.

Cons: Rays at home.
