I'm loving the 1st 5 innings. Minny has not seen Eveland before and Oak has seen Blackburn already. They got like 6 hits and 3 runs off of him. Oak tends to score in the earlies and give up leads late. Minny tends to score after the 5 inning and tries to come back into games. I like Oak chances better in the first 5 innings. I feel like you would want a full game line as opposed to first 5 innings, especially if you have the A's at home. They get last licks and you never know if that will decide the game.Comment -
But Minny always likes coming back at the end and Oak seems to never have nothing left in the tank at the end of games. Do you know how many games Oak has lost with durchesser at the mound at the end of the game when Durchess has left. Oak to me has an advantage in this game in the 1st 5 innings only. Blackburn usually gets torched by the 4th inning and Oak's eveland is alright and I feel he can keep minny at abay for 5 innings. That's all I need and hope for.Originally posted by fifawcs
Also, did you not see last nights game when they were up 6-0 by the 4th inning and almost gave the game up. Oak couldn't score squat after that 6-0 lead in the 4th. They tanked out as usual. they have been doing that all year and I expect no different tonight. I will take my chances with the 1st 5 innings..Comment -

Oakland has the number 5 bullpen in the majors. The Twin's bullpen on the road has a 5+ ERA. All I'm saying is you never know how this game pans out. The A's might not get anything at all against Blackburn. But then deliver a walk off win, at which point you would be kicking yourself.Comment -

I agree that the twins are overrated on the road, but they won't lose every road game. That being said, I'm not sure if Meyer will be able to outpitch Slowey.Comment
