Astros are the only ones I am on. Cinci has been terrible lately and Fogg has been driving that bandwagon.

I did parlay similar to this one yesterday, Cubs, White Sox, Colo and D-backs. Of Course I lost and I see those 4 teams a D back game like yesterday happening today. Gl though

Just out of curiousity, how are you categorizing the "top people"?

MLB survivor is this game that is offered on Mlb.com. It is basically a test of who can choose 1 team to win per day and string together the longest winning streak. After the picks lock for the day, you are allowed to see who the people who have teh longest streaks chose for the day. These are the most popular choices.

the more i watch games this year, the more home dogs win and win and win

the only way to bet mlb is dogs, thats really about it

Dogs are the way to win. But you have to be smart about the dogs you choose, cuz a lot of them suck. I liked the Pirates today, but they lost. Padres will def lose. The only real good one is Cleveland. Phillies is decent, but I'm not gonna risk it.

It was though. If the game was decided by two runs, then I know I made a good choice. The Phils are in first, but barely. And while I like them as dogs, Santana is the best pitcher in baseball and he will likely go 8 innings.

The thing about bad bullpens is that they won't blow every game. And even in the bad bullpens there are some reliable guys.

thats true, but the phils are at home, and laying road chalk on a team that finds amazing ways to lose every day is not wise
phils offense is better than the mets, as is their pen
betting mets ff is one thing, but laying -150 on a mediocre road team with no pen aint wise

I never said I was laying on them. If I were touching that game, I would go with the Phils. I think the Mets have the better offense. Everyone in their lineup can hit, including Johan. With the Phils, there are a few talented guys. Rollins, Victorino, Utley. Howard is good and all, but he is mostly a power guy. He is slightly better than Delgado. Burrell is pretty good. Werth is also not bad. After those, I don't think they are so great.

I'm not saying the Mets will win, as I am staying away from this one altogether. But offensively, the Mets are better.

unless its halladay , the pen is gonna play a very large role

you will take a horrible team, with a starter who has ZERO wins since june 9th, Zach duke, vs a first place team who never loses

but you wont take a first place team, vs a fading team, with no pen, on the road
i dont get it
if you take one, do both

I did Duke because Marquis does not deserve such chalk on the road. I would do phils, but I think the Mets will win this one. The Phils are where the value is, but I have a gut feeling that Mets will overpower them in today's contest.
