The line on the CLV/DET game is simply whacked!!!

Detroit is right up there as one of the biggest disapointments in '08, and still seeing them installed as 200+ home favorites is just ludicrous.

Cleveland comes into this series the much hotter team after just sweeping Tejas on the road. They're currently on a 7-game winning streak, and they dearly want to overcome the Tigers in this set to take ahold of 3rd place in the AL Central.

Cleveland was also expected to make noise again in the division, but injuries to key players that helped them almost go to the WS last season went on the shelf forcing Mgr Wedge to play with fresh new faces.

Regardless of competition, the Tribe's 13-3 its L/16 overall and getting almost 2:1 against a team you never know what your gonna get on a daily basis. Yes, Galarraga has dominated them this season, but they're due to finally bust out against him....why not tonight??!!!

Gimme CLV large!!!!

Ron, it's all I got to hold onto since I don't foresee my Bears improving upon their 7-9 mark from a year ago. The only thing I can take solace in is the fact that we swept you last year, so I'm holding onto that for as long as I can....

cleveland has the winning streak coming in vs. galarraga at home. I'd say its 50/50. I'll pass.

I see this as being quite simple. Not to win, but to take a stance on the game.

Detroit is already counting the days till the off-season as 2008's been an utter bust. CLV got off to a terrible start and were ransacked with injuries, but they've really turned it around since the break and head to Motown on a seven-game winning streak. From what I've read, they want desperately to surpass Detroit in the standings and do whatever they can to bite into the lead the Twinkies and Palehose have over them.

If they get to Galarraga early, I expect Leyland's team to quit as they've proven to be disinterested on numerous occasions when down early. This will allow the Tribe's hot bats to continue hitting G-raga whose owned them this season.

As bad a team as DET is, and as hot as the Tribe's been they should by no means be an underdog of this magnitude. This is a really sweet spot, and I hope some of you come along for the ride.....

If you are looking for a big dog, the only one that looks somewhat appetizing tonight is Oakland. Braden is decent, but Weaver sucks. At least the A's have a shot at +240. But again, I would stay away from the big dogs tonight.

Tigers are more of what's to be faded. Galarraga's been one of their lone bright spots this season. Cleveland just wants it more right now, and Lee must be looked into tomorrow as well with him barreling down on the AL Cy Young.

I'd like it to get under -150 though if possible before I throw down....
