i'm not sure what past you are talking about... but in the last few starts vasquez has look very very sharp.... He also has pitched well against tb this year.
the thing about Vasquez is that he doesn't have it between the ears. Most scouts will tell you he easily has top 10 in the majors stuff.... maybe top 5, he can be just plain nasty. But he has never put it altogether consistently.. that being said, he Strikes alot of batters out and TB strikes out a little bit too much, i think that they have some guys out with injuries.
Kazmir has been really off lately, I think he has gone 7 innings only once or twice in the last ten starts....
all in all, I would lean towards the chisox, since they are stellar at home, but Its not really a play for me.Comment -

dye is super under-rated... he's been solid for awhile... i think I heard a stat that like over the last 4 years he has more homers then all but 3 outfielders or somthing..

just remembered my strikeout + walk over 8.5 bet for vasquez...doesn't look good unless he manages to go complete game and pick up the SO pace..if he walks too many he will get yanked anyways.... he is maybe one batter from hitting the showers as it isComment -
