might be time to fade lester... I posted on another thread here, that i think he is a prime candidate to go through some dead-arm fatigue that will make him lose the life off his pitches... he is in uncharted territory about 15 innings above his career high in majors/minors. so far it seems the bluejays are squaring up on him very well.

Litsch is a sharp young pitcher and pretty good at home... looks good today... he's effectively wild... good stuff but missing enough to keep hitters off balance... i see him cruising through the next few innings may only make 6 innings though.. but bj's pen is top notch

i'm telling ya fade lester...the r.sox need to skip a few starts with him if they don't want his arm to be toast come october... he is still young and never really built up his innings yet... he will not be a smart bet the next few starts..

Chasing what???? I'm up? Why shall I chase??? I go with plays that look solid to me! Unfortunetly I don't know whats going on with Lester personally so I cant make that call! I just go off whats solid and not!

wtf r u talking bout? lester is amazing, hes gotten unlucky today, simple as that. his accuracy is off, i agree, but its nothing compared to litsch. If litch keeps pitching like his is, sox will put up a 4-5 run inning. But right now sox are playing awful

yeah lester is good... i'm not saying he isn't...

I'm only pointing out a proven fact, that once a young pitcher gets over a certain threshold in innings pitched in his career, he tends to lose velocity, control, bite, sink, ect for at least few starts to his arm adjusts. Have you ever pitched competively and taken the ball every fifth day? it wears you down. Lester is gonna be flat his next few starts...
