Bucholz has been pretty bad but are you really willing to back Waters? He's a relief pitcher forced to start and hasn't gone more than 4 innings in his last 2 starts.
I'm not saying it's a bad bet but don't underestimate Bostons lineup. Bucholz may give up a bunch but Waters probably will too.... Now that I think about it, What's the Over??????

The over is where common sense would play, but whenever i've played common sense totals this year they've lost. No shit i was 2-11 on totals earlier in the year and just gave up. Well iam not really backing Waters, i just thought +121 is too good to pass.

I'm doing Baltimore. The way I see it, the O's are looking to avoid being swept and if Waters was able to shut down the Angels, he is definitely better than Buchholz. You forget that the Orioles have a great offense. +123 seems like a bargain for the home team trying to avoid the sweep.Comment -

I definitely agree with the concept of the Home Team not wanting to get Swept. But don't put too much stock in Waters shutting down the Angels... he went on to give up 6 runs in 4 innings to TEXAS and then he only lasted 4.2 against Detroit (Balt won but no decision for him).
Anyway I'm not saying it's a bad bet I'm just pointing out that Waters isn't much better than Bucholtz... PLUS i'm a Sox fan!Comment -

Yea, I wanted to play the Orioles but I just couldn't trust Waters. 2 sorry pitchers. to hit friendly teams. It looked to me like it would be a big disaster so I stayed away..
