What's the best underdog bet for today??
I have to go with Atlanta at +175. Although they have Jo-Jo Reyes pitching they have faired well against the Mets this season. 7-2.. Reyes is the X factor here as he is back in the majors and has to show an improvement. Oliver Perez is a bum for the Mets and I just don't like that pitcher. Mets bullpen is a bust. This is the 1st game of the series and the Mets play lousy in the 1st game of any series. The only thing like I said before is Jo-Jo Reyes. Will he play like the same stinking Reyes or will there be an improvement.?

What's your best dog for the day?

Would say the Astros. They are the best team IMO of the teams that are large dogs.

Mine would be San Diego, Davis has been just awful lately. No way he desrves to be such a strong favorite.

I agree with those backing Houston. Moehler's been exceptional of late (2-0 with a 2.60 ERA L/3), and the Brewers are only 5-4 in Sheets' nine Miller Park starts this season.

The Astros were on fire up until AZ took 2 of 3 at the juicebox, and they've been one of the best $$$-makers since the All Star break.

Certainly one of the best +200 dawgs on the card tonight!!!

Jo Jo did his part. Damn shame the pen couldn't; and what's up with Francouer? Another 0-fer, and down to .230 on the year....really sad.

Keep an eye on Houston from here on out!!! This team has won 20 of 31 since the break, and only finds itself 7.5-games off the pace in the Wild Card race. I seem to rememebr a certain team from Colorado that caught fire around this time LY, and parlayed it into a miraculous trip to the World Series....
