    Cubs/Braves Game 2
It often happens that when 2 sides play 2 games in one day, there's a split. Who thinks the Braves will take GM 2?

Cubs with Harden on the mound.

The only thing that worries me is the 3 hour layoff between games. The Cubs were hot this afternoon and the break might mean they come out cold.

That's what informs the possibility of a Braves win in GM 2.

            I'm contemplating a 4-team parlay:
            BoSox/WSox/Pirates/Cubs

My fear is that the Cubs bats may cool off at night after a terrific daytime show.

              Good observation.
I'm beginning to think the Cubs will sweep the Braves like they swept the Brewers.

I'll close my eyes and play this 4-team parlay:
              BoSox/WSox/Pirates/Cubs.

There is no logic in that Wilforth. Atlanta went into the break cold and will come out hot but the Cubs go in hot and come out cold? No.

That's why I need people's contributions. I want to pick a team in that game. My head says the Cubs will win but you never know. I'll go with the hot and better team, more so that the Braves have no pitching edge in this one.

I believe the Braves are done, they may have nothing to play for now.

                        Pat,

Let's pound this one. Cubs/Pirates - two teams in opposite directions and with different ambitions.

as much as i feel that sweeps are a good bet in dh's
i personally wont lay odds on a road team -no matter who's pitching
for me its either the home team or no bet

I think a lot of us have similar tendencies, but it's also good to know when to exploit the exceptions. I like playing home teams as well but I don't mind playing hot road teams especially when they appear to have the pitching edge and are facing mediocre offenses. I don't mind playing the Angels, Cubs, White Sox and Texas on the road when I'm convinced there's a 70% or more chance of them winning.
