if your team plays this stupid and this poorly day after day, not calling balls, not figuring out who covers on dps, or on attempted sbs, who is to blame?

I think you blame the overpaid superstars that can't play a team game. Not everyone can be Joe Torre.

Girardi's in-game management in Florida was awful. Only reason he won Manager of the Year in 2006 was because his PLAYERS overacheived. His bullpen management is especially craptastic.
Nothing to do with his managerial traits.

Torre was a bad bullpen guy. girardi is not. He is the opposite. He is the reason Kyle Farnsworth was good when he was a Yankee. He built of Farnsworth's confidence. That's why I think the Pudge trade was a bad idea.

i am not saying girardi is a bad pen guy, but i dont see him as a good mgr like gardenhire or scosia or maddon or booby cox
it aint his fault they lost wang and joba but the offense doesnt hit
move jeter down to 7th. thats the first thing i would do, or release jeter. he sucks

Let's be honest setting any bias aside, you still want Jeter on your team even thoguh he isn't having the best season. He is still outperforming most shortstops in the league offensively and is still the Captain. Besides the first game of the series, I think Girardi has been a good manager this year in his dealings with all of the injuries to the team. And I am not just saying that because I am a fan. I am no homer. I think the biggest responsibilities of being a manager are being able to communicate with players and bullpen designations.

The same reason you think Scoscia is good or Gardenhire. He can communicate with players, the media, and his bullpen guys. He even has his own show on the Yes Network called the Joe Girardi Show where he breaks down each home stand or road trip and identifies successes and problems for people who watch. Like I said, I have not disagreed with any of his moves besides 2 days ago.

scosia has a track record
gardenhire wins every year with a team, not a bunch of players who play for stats and money
is ee the decisions those guys make and they are always the rrightones
which moves do you think girardi makes that work out? i mean, i see a lot of bad moves by some mgrs, and gardenhire NEVER EVER does the wrong thing
