    Closers
When you have a one or two run who’s the guy past or present when you see him come out of the pen set up man, middle relief you say I'm fvcked. I just said that in this Texas and I was right for the second night in a row Cordero
    Has blown it again.

For a short time in 1994 when he was with the Astros, I thought that about Mitch Williams.

The one guy that scares me the most right now with Houston is Zeqe Astacio, a fly ball pitcher chunkin' half the time in a stadium that is fairly easy to jerk pitches out down either line.

thats the 3rd this year that Cordero has done that against Oakland.

if i had to pick a closer, i'd take Bruce Sutter. that split finger fastball he threw was murder to hit.

Otsuka should start closing in Texas. Don't know what to do in St. Louis, but Isringhausen is garbage this year.

Cordero will end up with 20 wins this year, if this continues.

Is that because he looks like Frankensteins uglier brother?

Not to worry. They could always stick Looper in there.

Texas better do something fast because this guy flat out sucks. His era is near the 12 mark.

There are three closers that I don't want to see anymore (unless i have the other side)...Reitsma of ATL, Guajardo of Seattle and Isringhausen of STL.

Mitch Williams repeated his blow-it-up antics late in his Philadelphia career.

Made even funnier by the fact val verde would literally translate as 'worth green.'
