My reason behind both of these teams is both starting pitchers will give up a cpl of runs and the bullpen will also give us a number of runs.

Yes, both pitchers have a combined more than 15 ERA. But what you don't know is that the temperature will be more than 100 degrees. With that kind of heat, nobody will hit well. In 10 years, it will be 110-120 degrees during summer in Texas. Global warming is gonna kill us all.

Actually I'm not basing it just on Umps. But a major part of it is on umps. The reason is because strike zones can vary with many umps. But home and road ERA'S,weather, pitchers last 3 games and a cpl of more things fit my way of choosing.

I don't think it is fair to criticize him. He made two plays, they pushed. I didn't agree with his reasoning, but you can't say he does not know what he is talking about especially considering he didn't lose either bet.
