Holland pitched 2 innings last night and feldman an inning. I'd love to see Wilson in there as a Cardinal backer. Cards also have Edwin Jackson, Westbrook and Lohse available

Holland pitched last night the Cards already beat Wilson.
You're in denial just like everyone else has been the past month and s half.
St. Louis is destined to win it all.

Carpenter had never pitched on three days rest in his entire career until doing so in Game 2 of the NLDS vs. the Philadelphia Phillies, and the results were disastrous. Carpenter labored through 64 pitches while lasting a season low three innings, surrendering four earned runs on five hits with three walks vs. just two strikeouts. If he was that bad in that start knowing well in advance that he would be pitching on short rest, we have serious doubts about just how sharp he will be vs. the potent Texas lineup tonight after not knowing he could potentially start until two days ago.
