The Rangers were "+ money" last night too, how'd that work out for ya? I'm not saying I'm laying -140 on the ML tonight, but my confusion is due to the fact that you are worried what everyone else is betting and calling names like an 8 yr old. Team of destiny, with odds in their favor, Texas has a banged up offensive line up , and did I mention st. louis has their ace going at home. Home team is 8-0 in the last 8 game 7's in world series play. You cant come back back from what happened last night if you are Texas. Texas lost a game , that they had no business losing. Texas, in my eyes are starting to look like the buffalo bills of the past. Just cant get it done for a championship. So close but soo far. I just cant believe the people think Texas has a shot tonight. There is just no way. St. louis wins 6-3 in a game they dominate from beginning to end.

The Cardinals was obviously the play tonight. The only real factor going in the Ranger's favor was Carpenter going on less rest...and it turned out to be a non-factor. All of the intangibles were on the Cardinals side though.

I'm a Cubs fan, and I remember how the 2003 NLCS was essentially over after Game 6. When you get that close, and fail...it's almost impossible to get past that 20 hours later.

Game 6 and 7 of this series proves that if you bet against a team of destiny you will lose and no matter who is the "best" team on paper, you can throw it all out the window. No matter how bad Larussa's bullpen management was, no matter how bad the Cardinals' defense was, no matter how many times they trailed Texas during the game, the Cardinals were going to win. oh, and not to mention a hero named David Freese.

It also proves here that effort and heart outweighs talent and strategy combined! Unbelievable!
