Would the New York Yankees unretire uniform #5?

At the risk of sounding blasphemous to yankee fans, would they unretire Joe D's #5 if that was the only stumbling block in getting Albert Pujols and Tony LaRussa as a package deal? I have a funny feeling a few teams will go after those 2 as a package.

lol.....Pujols has his last big contract coming I doubt very seriously he's going to threaten to sign elsewhere unless the Yankees unretired a #....silly post
