here is what i found on Hunter...
Tommy Hunter struck out 12 while allowing just an unearned run over 8 1/3 innings for Single-A Bakersfield on Tuesday.
Hunter, a 2007 supplemental first-round pick, is 3-3 with a 3.93 ERA, 40 H and 30/4 K/BB in 36 2/3 IP in the California League. He might work better as a reliever, as some extra velocity would make his fastball less hittable. However, the Rangers are likely to keep developing him as a starter. He might not be more than a No. 4 or No. 5, but he could develop into a fine innings eater.

He is an innings eater is right. He has been compared to a david wells type pitcher... Will put the ball in play and not walk a lot of batters... Not sure if he is a ground ball guy or a fly ball guy, but it would surely benefit him to be a ground ball guy with that ball park and jet stream in Arlington.
