Live-In Play betting question

First of all I love live betting. I'm kinda new to the live betting. but anyways. I placed an in game bet tonight for the total runs in the 2nd inning -1/2 +250. I placed the bet during the first inning after hamilton hit it down the line and scored Andrus. There where no runs scored in the second inning but i lost the wager. for instance the score right now is still 0-1 in the bottom of the 5th. it still says -1/2 runs for the 6th inning +250. if the score is already 0-1 why would you make the bet. Or is it for dumb a**** like me...lol.. I need someone to shed some light for me.

I think that might have said Texas -1/2 +250. If they dont win that inning you lose.

Total runs would say something like o1/2 or u1/2 and its speaking for that specific inning not the whole game.
