i did not bet the twins yesterday. but they do win at home.
in fact today is the first day of the series i took twins and of course they are losing

And my response to that is that the White Sox are the better team and they want to make a statement by opening up some daylight in the division.

konerko is done or hurt. same with swish. their pitching is overrated and the twins maximize their talent and dont lose at home
yes, i probably did say that, the team wins 3 of 4 or so at home, so where is the value betting against them in the dome

That is where our difference in opinion comes in. There is almost always value in getting the better team as a dog. I don't think the Sox pitching is overrated, I think it is legit, and they have a good bullpen too. I have absolutely nothing against the Twins, I have a lot of respect for a team that scores as many runs as they do without hitting homers. I just think Sox are better is all.

but i dont think javier vazquez or gavin floyd are much to write home about. i am a buerhle fan. john danks i dont know enough about as he hasnt had a track record. this team has trouble hitting and they dont steal bases either. the twins play the best ball in that division and they will win the division

Vazquez is a head case that gets rattled very easily, but he gets a lot of strikeouts and his ERA has been in the 3s most of the year. Floyd has always had potential and he is just now coming into his own. I think he has a decent future.

I love Baker, and he and Liriano (if healthy) will make an awesome 1-2 punch. I am not crazy about the rest of the rotation though. Livan has been smoke and mirrors and Perkins and Blackburn may have rushed through the systema a bit.
