Probably against my better judgement, I have recently gotten into sports betting. I love math and use it both in my job and in my life, specifically anything having to do with statistics, so it is only natural that I eventually move to this world. I usually only play poker.
Anyways, thought I'd give this a try. I'm using the Kelly Criterion with a very minimum starting bankroll of $100 and am currently up to $149 after 3 weeks of making picks everday, a pretty good return on money so far.
The picks I have for Thursday are:
Milwaukee +135 (at a wager of 4.7% of my bankroll - I really like this pick)
St Louis -127 (at 1.2% of bankroll)
Seattle +132 (at 1.7% of bankroll - I have been losing when picking Seattle, so this might be my last attempt at picking them)
LA Dodgers -104 (at 4.1% - another pick I love)
Anyways, any advice you guys have would be greatly appreciated. I'd like to toy around with this for a while and see if I am any good at picking games, and maybe try and make some serious profit later on in the future.
