    Wednesday Value Plays
    I went 1-0 +1.48 Units Yesterday.

    2*Rangers -180
Pros: Padilla has been great at home this season. Although he has a 4+ career ERA versus the Mariners, he is 1-0 with a 2.00 ERA in 3 starts against them this year. Batista is 4-4 with a 5.12 ERA in 13 career games against Texas, including 0-2 with a 7.64 ERA at Rangers Ballpark. Take the Rangers before they blow this awful Mariners team out of the water.

    Cons: Texas Bullpen

    2*Oakland -129
Pros: I know I have been calling Gallagher a retard for the longest time. However, you cannot deny the fact that he has been pitching well since coming over to the A's. He is 1-0 with a 2.60 ERA since coming over. He is opposing the awful road pitcher in Brian Bannister, who is 0-3 with a 9.12 ERA over his last five starts. The right-hander is 1-1 with a 4.05 ERA against the A's and allowed five runs in five innings of a 13-2 loss at Oakland on April 18. His road ERA is a whopping 8.60 and his BAA is .365. Expect the A's to avoid getting swept at home.

Cons: The A's have no offense

Damnit. I wish someone would argue that my plays suck. That's why I create these posts, to instigate trouble and intelligent baseball discussion.

Leave Oakland alone, ride texas into the sun set, maybe even run line them. No reason to put a single penny on oakland if you like money!

I think you are going 2-0 today.

Padilla is Texas's money maker pitcher @ +13.20 units, second place on the roster is Gabbard at 5.70 units on the year. Not to mention the lob-sided pitching match-up, and Seattles road record.

The A's game looks like an easy Under play. The Royals may not get more than 3 against Gallagher and the A's aren't capable of more than 2 RPG nowadays.

I like the A's because Bannister blows on the road. He has also struggled earlier this season at McAfee Coliseum.

You also have to realize that the chances of a team getting swept are really small. Especially at home. It does happen, but I'm sure you will make money if you bet against the sweep. The last time the Royals swept Oakland at home was back in 1988.

pretty even game. KC plus money is the right pick since this game is pretty much a coin toss.

How much would you guys put on the Angels? Man I just want to lay out some big $ on them. Good odds, and I feel a sweep coming on with powerful LA pitching as well as good offense. The only thing is that after last night, Boston will come out forcefully. Still, I don't expect the Red Sox to take it down.

                            OH! MONEY!
