Maddux is just 2-13 with a 5.30 ERA through 21 lifetime starts facing the D'Backs. It’s not going to get any easier for Maddux tonight with Arizona heating up at the plate. The D'Backs have won 5 of their last 6 games and they're scoring 6.3 runs per game in their last 7 games overall. The D'Backs have recorded 10 or more hits in five straight games now. This is a dangerous team and the Padres will be no match for Arizona tonight (I hope). San Diego is 11-31 when playing against a team with a winning record this season. The D'Backs are 4-0 in their last 4 road games vs a team with a losing home record. San Diego is 0-7 in their last 7 home games vs a right-handed starter. The Padres are 0-4 in Maddux's last 4 starts.
