UNDER 8.5 Tonight...

i had a small piece on the under yesterday, fukkk me. anyway, i always like to look at teams changing venues in this scenarios and find reasons to bet one way or another, side or total. this ballpark is more an under place compared to where the teams just left. yesterday was an under game until the end, but if you look deeper there were numerous times when one hit could have changed all that. i was on under in game 1 and the same can be said of that game too. typically this time of year you have colder weather in the north (like detroit) and you have a better chance with unders, but the weather in detroit will be 60 degrees at gametime, very unusual this time of year. i like the over here because i just cant see either team choking with risp as they did the past two games. there will be runners on base tonight. i am looking at taking the rangers and passing on the side. good luck!

picking a side is hard in this one but the carryover from Cruz's grand slam in terms of momentum is huge. On the other hand Tigers have backs up against the wall so somewhat of a must win...that is why I am having trouble picking a side, great arguments for both sides.

Not gonna buy into Colby Lewis trouble vs the Tigers as he has been a very good playoff pitcher so far and Fister will pitch well. I really think this game is tight the whole way through, hence the under play.

Tough choice, took the under @ +110 value last night. With that said however, either one of those teams can break the over with a slight edge to the Rangers. Lewis and Fister have been lights out in the playoffs. Not reading too much into playoff ERAs but Fister has 0.98, and Lewis has 1.67 with no losses as of yet. We'll see how this plays out. The only caveat being Lewis has been hit around in his last few starts @ Detroit.

Here's why the Under makes sense. Leyland doesnt let this game get out of hand, he knows its a must win. Lewis got rocked by Detroit earlier in the year, but it's the playoffs and knows he has a shot to put Texas in prime position to make it to the WS. If Fister gets roughed up early, expect the pen to be up quick. Under is the play

Not sure who wins the tigers/rangers game today and no way I lay juice with Harrison and his shitty record vs the Tigers and Porcello for me is like AJ Burnett so your guess is as good as mine but I wouldn't be suprised if Porcello pitches a gem today.

Anyway...it looks like I am coming back today with the Cardinals -150. Too many things favor them here. It is a lot of juice but I think its a winner.
