#2Becareful with it Fister has a .86 ERA in his last 3 starts and has allowed only 1 run in 5 of his last 8 starts and the other 3 were shut-outs. He is pitching well right now and Lewis has allowed 3 runs or less in 4 of his last 5 starts. But Detroit has shell him good this year giving up 13 runs in his 2 starts against them, But I think Texas will pull him before this game gets out of hand early. texas knows they got lucky with that grand slam by Cruz.Comment -

#3Yeah overs generally are not a good play in playoff baseball, with a few exceptions with what Mil. and St. Louis are doing right now. The walk off grand slam was the 1st in history, so for those that bet the over and RL for Texas- count your blessings, God loves you, lol.
In any case, Lewis has had some great starts, same with Fister- Fister has been dominant in the month of September since being traded from Seattle where he received no run support. Same could be said of Lewis, but I honestly think the Tex ML might be the play here, coming off a great walk-off win, Michael Young breaking his hitting slump, I really see Texas winning tomorrow. Detroit is injured and their bullpen cannot compete with Texas', definitely if it comes down a bullpen showdown- Texas will win SU. Even if Fister holds the Texas offense for 6 innings, as we saw today - Texas can make up for that in any inning. Their lineup is loaded up and down, compared to Detroit's which while good is missing a few starters and has an injured Delmon Young who didn't look completely healthy in todays game- and he's coming off a extra-inning loss. Detroit has hit Lewis, but I'll take Texas offense any day, I learnt my lesson today by getting against this Texas lineup, Detroit had the opportunity to score many times and didn't capitalize, I think that will set the tone for another frustrating loss.Comment -

#4Young Mister Fister is due for a correction. He pitched into and out of nail-biting trouble at NYY over and over. Tonight, I think he pitches into trouble-trouble. Sure he's been on a great run since mid-August but six of those games were vs. some of the lowest scoring teams in the AL -- Oak, Min, Cle and TB. I'll be interested in the line for total Texas runs.
On the other hand, the data tells you Detroit should rock Lewis -- his career BAA vs. Det is .328! LOL. But Det has been so luckless lately, it's not hard to imagine that Lewis delivers a quality start giving up a run or two. Don't kid yourself, Lewis can be a decent, occasionally dominant, pitcher. Ovr 8.5 probably a good bet, but I like ovr 4.5 in the first 5 better. Just wagered that and may do Texas ovr 4 or whatever it is when the line is posted.Comment -

#18i see a low scoring game tonight. Colby Lewis through a handful of starts has been very good in the playoffs albeit bad vs the Tigers but its a different game tonight. Fister ppitches good at home and will probably perform well....think I will be on the under 8.5 hoping for possibly 9.Comment -
