Plus money is a nice bonus here. Brandon Backe quietly has put together a quality run in his road starts at keeping the totals under the #. This may have more to do with Houston not hitting for him as the 'Stros are averaging a meager 2.75 runs per road start while Backe yields just over 4 runs. In 12 roadies, the total has gone under 10 times. That includes a 5-1 loss @ MIL. David Bush has been pretty stout as a starter & the only real worry here is that he hasn't pitched in close to two weeks because of the reshuffling of the rotation after the break & Sabathia trade. Bush though has a stellar 5-1 record vs. HOU with a 3.22 ERA. At home, he hasn't yielded more than 3 ER since April. Brewers are also on a nice run with the UNDER at 5 straight.
