3) was named in Greek "Philos = LOVE" and "Adelphos = BROTHER"
the colonies was in iffy, and wild place.. they were honoring the Democracies
FIRST established by the Greeks in the 5th Century B.C.

Last time I checked the point of sports was to to win, and the Yankees have done that better than any franchise in the history of any sport.
