I'm on the brewers as well.
Wellmeyer is not as good as his stats suggest... His numbers in July are horrible and is not good at home. Wellmeyer seems like a good pitcher to fade

I hit the cards. Sheets does not do well against them so I went with a small dog.

From my thread:
# Brewers, $117 to win $100 The Brew Crew is on a great roll since CC came to town and I can't see that stops with Sheets on the mound. Sheets have realy struggled vs Cards, but I think he can improve that today and hold them to 2-3 runs...
# Brewers are 4-0 in the last 4 meetings in St. Louis
# Brewers are 4-0 in Sheets' last 4 starts vs. National League Central
# Cardinals are 1-5 in Wellemeyers last 6 starts
# Cardinals are 1-5 in their last 6 during game 4 of a series
# Brewers are 4-1 in their last 5 during game 4 of a series # Brewers are 12-3 in Sheets' last 15 road starts
# Brewers are 1-8 in Sheets' last 9 starts vs. Cardinals
# MIL/STL u8, $43,48 to win $50 I like this play, but not enough to bet "big" on it...
Both teams got a great numbers of runs pr game in their L10, but it's lower in their L5 and the trends is on the under today....
# Under is 4-0 in the last 4 meetings in St. Louis
# Under is 5-1 in Sheets' last 6 road starts vs. Cardinals
# Under is 9-3-1 in Sheets' last 13 starts vs. Cardinals
# Under is 6-1 in Wellemeyers last 7 starts with the total set at 7.0-8.5
# Under is 7-0 in Cardinals last 7 vs. a team with a winning record
# Under is 4-0 in Brewers last 4 vs. National League Central
# Over is 9-1 in Brewers last 10 during game 4 of a series

I lean towards the Cardinals on this one simply because Sheets is 5-14 career vs them, but I'm passing on this one because St.Louis has looked awful offensively.

Sheets is 5-14 career vs them
Thats the one thing thats got me worried. How much do yall factor in to a pitchers career record vs. a certain team though?

I don't see how any game before 2007 amounts to shit, there's so much turnover on these teams

Yes, these days better to look at the individual matchups Pitcher v. Batter...

No one asked for my opinion but.....
A standard play on the Brewers based on how Sheets has played in night games this years would be a better play than all in on the Cubs who have lost their last TEN games vs the Marlins who are due to break out of their offensive slump.
Just sayin......

My bet:
Will there be a run in the first inning?
NO -130
$126 to win $97

Yeah, my fault -- I got confused between "going all in on the Cubs" and the Brewers/Cards game... sorry.
