This guy is a talented head case, in the most pivitol game of the season for the Yanks. He will be in his own head the whole time he pitches. This guy will not have a long appearance.

Yeah over is the play tomorrow. Regarding Burnett he is going to be on an extremely short leash tomorrow. If he gets in any trouble that puts the game in jeopardy he's gone. Girardi can not have this season end on the arm of AJ Burnett. The fan base hates him and the team didnt even want him on the postseason roster. If AJ loses this game it will make Girardi/the organization look awful even though the yanks really don't have any other option.

i'd say that's around the cutoff point. if he gives up two runs and DET has the bases loaded he's gone.

aj does not like to throw strikes, gonna be a lot of walks, and then he'll have to throw some when they know they're coming, and then BOOM. we have seen this show before.

Porcello is garbage, yes. But Burnett gets the convo started. He is capable of pitching well enough to win, but he is consistently inconsistent.
