SABATHIA vs. VERLANDER
New York Yankees's relievers have pitched 20 innings in the last 3 games. Sabathia averages around 6 or 6 and 1/2 innings regardless of game ERA. Coming off of a 1 and 1/2 days rest I believe that CC isn't fully rested. I believe the same for Verlander as he goes a little deeper (around 6 and 1/2 - 8 innings. Detroit Tigers's relievers have pitched 13 innings in the last 3 games. Yes CC and Justin are the ACES but when the aces get worn out the bullpen suffers. Once these two get taken out (between 6th and 7th) I am not too confident in the exhausted relievers to close then game.
Make no mistake of Yankees and Tiger bats. They are exceptionally hot this postseason and I would not be surprised to see the game total around 12.
I personally think this game is a no play but I always like overs of 7 and especially in postseason.
