Why the difference? Same team, same opposing pitcher (CC)..... Did CC throw more pitches than Justin Friday? What am I missing?

Beats me. The Tigers don't do much better at home than they do on the road. They get a slight advantage, but nothing worth the huge swing. As far as I can tell, this game is a toss-up. I'll probably end up taking the dog.

Its an obligatory home line for Verlander @ home. He would not be a dog to any team, while pitching @ home.

Agreed but I think at least -115 would be more accurate against a pitcher the caliber of CC.

I think the line has more to do with the Yanks not being a great road team. Yankee stadium and Comerica Park are totally different animals. Yankee stadium was built for their left hand hevay lineup. You got such a small porch in right field that with the likes of Cano, Granderson, Tex, that porch is easily accessible.

Come to Comerica Park (more of a pitchers park) and Verlander will have much more room to work with. Throw in the fact that Verlander was just an absolute beast all year, and the presumption is that he is better than CC at the moment. Hence the line of where it is.

As for who wins, not sure. Verlander doesn't have the postseason pedigree and all we have to go off is his first attempt a few years back. Not stellar. Will it change this time around??

Not a whole lot of value, but the value may actually lie with the Yankees on this one. Taking CC at + money cannot be a bad thing.

I'm probably laying off this game myself, but BOL to all who do play

Tigers should be a favorite but not sure the line should of changed that much considering the umpire scheduled tonight Gerry Davis isn't one that Verlander has fared well in.

The three day rest junk isn't something that worries me all that much it wasn't like either pitcher through came close to what they would throw in a start.
